Sutures out

The sutures have been removed. I have been calm and allowed nurse to work across my head. For each stitch she has found the thread and cut it, and then removed it. I was given a little blue dish to hold stitches in. The tricky ones were under a mound of blood. For these, the nurse had to gently remove the blood, find stitch and then remove it. There were lots with knots on too. They have been removed. Hooray. Snaps will follow. 
A number of them were painful, but I have to say that the nurse respected how I was feeling and we got there together. Thank you Rochelle. Good job done. :)))). Love you.

Still scared about suture removal. Hello NCT girls :). I can remember having caesarian sutures removed and the whole procress being agony. The big tip was to relax, but I was uptight, so IT HURT. Gotta be relaxed and chilled, I know . Love you all. Hope to text soon that it was EASY. Love you all.

    Well done. Amazing how body heals! Yours is obviously good at this. Pure Aloe Vera gel good for scars when you are allowed. Love you. Xxx

    I don't remember getting stitches out with Eirherof my CS. I think they dissolved...or maybe I'm blocking it out. You've done well

    When the girls ask 'will it hurt?' I always say 'not as much as having a baby'. You'll so be able to trump that now with 'not as much as when I had brain surgery'

    That's great news they've been taken out already. And you obviously learned from your CS experience and managed to relax to make it relatively straight forward. I'm impressed at your composure and application to do what needed to be done!

    It also sounds like you're in the hands of an expert medical team there! They're obviously doing a brilliant job.

    Evening Sarah.
    I'm also amazed at how well the scar has healed. I love the comment about "will it hurt?" and you being able to reply (causally of course) "not as much as when I had brain surgery"!
    One of the Moss park ladies had a baby boy at Hope on Monday - Ellen -can't remember if your times at the club overlapped or not. Babybrain-itis strikes again.
